Well, I haven't been around much.  I've been busier at work.  I've found the forum to have grown more and more tedious.  I haven't been shooting as much and preparing work for display.  I should still take time to go through those I am watching and comment on work, but I've just grown away from DA. So, that explains my lack of DA activity. I still pop in every once in a while to check for notes and such.  Maybe I'll get back into it later. Went to Arizona Mills today to watch a Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest. The winner was some grandma who ate, I think, 13, or so.  Her husband competed in the Las Vegas contest (I don't recall if they said he won or not).  So, it's apparently off to Coney Island and the nationals for her. One of the other contestants, who almost beat her, looked a lot like one of my friends back in Austin.  It's weird, but since being back in Phoenix, I've seen several people who are dead ringers for those I know in Austin. For those in the Phoenix metro area, I would recommend not getting photo services at Elite Photo.  Here's my beef: 1.  There is a $2/CD "download" fee for digital reprints.  Now, this seems to be pretty standard in the area (and, perhaps, elsehwere), so I'm not sure there's too much to gripe about, or at least they're not screwing people anymore for it. 2.  When getting film scanned you must buy the CD from them for $2.50.  I asked if I could provide my own CD and was told that there might be conflicts.  So, I just assumed that maybe there was something special about them.  Maybe they were PictureCD or PhotoCD or some jazz like that.  Well,
